A New Individual Leaderboard

From version 4.6 and onwards, you'll see a new Leaderboard on your dwells.

What is this Leaderboard?

This leaderboard is a new exciting way of measuring your progress in Dreamscape that does more than only rewarding your dwell conquering skills. For as long as the session is going, gain as many points as you can to claim cool prizes given to the highest ranking players. The prizes will be rotated so not every special prize is the same. After the current session is over, all points will be reset to 0. There will be a fresh start with every new leaderboard session.

Your ranking will always be available near the bottom of the left column. The top 100 players will be visible by scrolling through the ranking. If you're in the top 100 players, you'll see your own name at the bottom left and within the ranked scrolling section.

At launch, you'll find yourself in the Players tab. This tab will include all Dreamscape players who have earned more than 0 points in the current session. These sessions will be marked on the right side of your screen. For more details about the Class tab, please read this article!

Where do I Find This Leaderboard?

The new leaderboard will be accessible by clicking on your own username at the top left of the dwell, or on the trophy and points directly below that.

Why is there a New Leaderboard?

This leaderboard isn't like the old board. The Shards leaderboard was based exclusively on getting shards from challenging others' bases. This leaderboard will reward you for completing all the other fun parts of Dreamscape, including upgrading your dwell, improving your reading comprehension skills, and still rewarding you for gaining shards. 

The shard leaderboard rewarded players who started earlier, as gaining that many shards takes a lot of time to compete. This new leaderboard will reset progress on a regular basis so everyone has a chance of reaching the top and being rewarded for it.

Why Should I Compete?

The top 100 players of the leaderboard will gain exclusive rewards. These rewards will be visible on the right side of the leaderboard, along with the schedule for the current challenge.

The top 3 players who have the most points when the current schedule is over will get special prizes. All other players who rank in the top 100 will receive a cool reward too!

How do I Compete?

To compete in the new leaderboard, you'll be rewarded points for a whole new set of actions including:

• Answering questions correctly
• Placing a building on your dwell and finish its first construction (walls are excluded from granting points)
• Upgrading your buildings (walls are excluded from granting points)
• Winning a challenge

You'll know when you earned points when an achievement appears on your screen. Newly earned points will fly into your current points to keep you updated on your newest balances.

You won't need to opt into the leaderboards. Any action you take to earn points will automatically put you in the running on the leaderboard and points will be granted. All players who login on version 4.10 and beyond are included in the leaderboard competition.

More actions to earn even more points will be released in future versions of Dreamscape. The amount of points you earn for completing an action may also change in the future as part of balancing.

What Happened to the Shards Leaderboard?

For all the Dreamseekers who loved the leaderboard based on Challenges, don't worry. You'll still have access to this leaderboard from your Challenge Menu and selecting the leaderboard button.
