Upgrades
To learn about how to upgrade buildings in Dreamscape, check out this article.
Avatar Lodge
The Avatar Lodge is your home away from home, Dreamseeker! Walk on in to swap out your looks, and to view your collectible items.
In the Items menu, you can dress your Avatar with different heads and costumes. You can pick your favourite dance, a message to taunt your opponents, and a power for when you challenge other players.
In the Pets menu, you can view your pets, as well as pets you can unlock! Click on your own pet to see its stats, stories, and evolutions. Click on an Unlockable pet to purchase it for MCoins.
In the Skin menu, you can change your Avatar Lodge’s design.
In the Info menu, you can see your Lodge’s HP and level. The Avatar Lodge cannot be upgraded, so it will always be level 1.
Bulb
This Bulb will go off on intruders– in more ways than one. A sneaky, super-electrified light Bulb hiding inside a pretty flower will be sure to scare the ZAP out of your enemies!
The Bulb is a defensive building that explodes if any reveries get near them, damaging all reveries in the area. After exploding, the bulb disappears for the rest of the challenge.
Favourite Target | Ground (will not hit Jigs) |
Damage type | Splash* |
Attack Range | 15 tiles |
*Splash damage means that a Bulb can hit multiple reveries, rather than just one.
The Bulb unlocks at Vision Core level 3. Once bulbs are unlocked, the player can have a maximum of 2, regardless of Vision Core level.
Crystal Tower
The Crystal Tower is powered by a mysterious force within its walls. Let it help you on your quest.
The Crystal Tower is a defensive building that protects its dwell by shooting magic beams at attacking reveries. It unlocks when your Vision Core is level 5.
Targets | Flying and ground reveries |
Damage type | Splash* |
Attack Range | 7 tiles |
*Splash damage means that a single shot from the Crystal Tower can hit multiple reveries, rather than just one at a time.
Dream Weaver
Dream Weavers are responsible for building, growing, and upgrading every item in your dwell. Dream Weavers literally make your dreams come true!
Dream Weavers allow you to build and upgrade your dwell. The more Dream Weavers you have, the more buildings you can construct/upgrade at the same time. You can view how many free Dream Weavers you have on the right side of the screen:
The left number (2 in this example) is the number of available Dream Weavers you have. If you have 2 available, that means you can build or upgrade two new buildings.
The right number (5 in this example) is your total number of Dream Weavers. Players gain their first Dream Weaver in the tutorial and can get more through the shop. The maximum number of Dream Weavers a player can have is determined by their Vision Core level:
Maximum number of Dream Weavers | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
Vision Core level required (default) | 1 | 1 | 6 | 8 | Not available |
Vision Core level required (member) | 1 | 1 | 1 | 6 | 8 |
By default, players can have an absolute maximum of 4 once they reach Vision Core level 8. Players with an active membership can get an extra Dream Weaver through the shop, so they can have a maximum of 5, once they reach Vision Core level 8.
For example, a player with a vision core at level 1 can have 2 Dream Weavers. They will be able to build a third when their Vision Core is level 6.
If the player is a member, they can have 3 Dream Weavers when their Vision Core is level 1. They will be able to build their fourth then their Vision Core is level 6.
Hatch
The Hatch is where all reveries are born. Upgrade your Hatch to unlock new kinds of Reveries– powerful beyond your wildest dreams!
The Hatch is where you train your reveries. As you upgrade your hatch, you will unlock new reveries!
You can use the Train Reveries menu to see your unlocked reveries, training queue, revery capacity, and more. Learn more about training reveries [here].
In the Your Reveries menu, you can see all the reveries you currently have trained.
In the Reveries Info menu, you can see details about each revery type you have unlocked.
While upgrading a hatch can unlock more revery types, building multiple hatches has very little benefit.
Imaginanium
Imaginanium is one of the two primary resources of Dreamscape, along with Miraj. It is a golden sparkling liquid that flows through the Dreamscape.
You can view your current balance of Imaginanium in the top right of the screen.
Imaginanium can be used:
- To train and upgrade reveries
- To build and upgrade Hatches
- To build and upgrade Temples
- To build and upgrade Miraj Trees
- To build and upgrade Miraj Storage
Imaginanium Tanks
Even though your imagination can’t be contained, your Imaginanium can– right here in these tanks! Upgrade your Imaginanium Tanks to increase the amount of imaginanium you can store.
Imaginanium Tanks increase your storage capacity for Imaginanium. Upgrading and building additional tanks increases the Imagininanium storage capacity further.
Imaginanium Wells
Imaginanium is the liquid gold pumped straight from your imagination. Upgrade your Imaginanium wells to maximize imaginanium production.
Imaginanium wells are how you produce imaginanium for your dwell. Each question you answer will cause your wells to produce more Imaginanium. While upgrading a well can increase production for the first few levels, they quickly reach a maximum production capacity. Once this happens, you can only increase your production capacity by building additional wells.
That’s not to say that upgrading wells does not help. Wells provide storage for Imaginanium, too - though not quite as well as tanks. If you’ve reached your maximum number of Imaginanium tanks, try upgrading your wells!
Ippa Anti-Air
Ippa watches the sky to take down any flying intruders with his grape launcher! While super effective against flying Reveries, Ippa can't do anything about Reveries on the ground.
The Ippa Anti-Air is a defensive building that protects its dwell by shooting grapes at attacking Jigs (flying reveries). It unlocks when your Vision Core is level 4.
Targets | Flying reveries only |
Damage type | Single target |
Attack Range | 10 tiles |
Krakkun
The Krakkun is a mysterious creature of the deepest depths. With all those tentacles flying around, bad dreams entering your dwell won't know what hit them! Upgrade your Krakkun to see the power of the sea…
The Krakkun is a defensive building that protects its dwell by attacking invaders on the ground. It unlocks when your Vision Core is level 1.
Targets | Ground reveries only |
Damage type | Single target |
Attack Range | 9 tiles |
Miraj
Miraj is one of the two primary resources of Dreamscape, along with Imaginanium. It is a valuable type of fruit that grows on trees in the Dreamscape.
You can view your current balance of Imaginanium in the top right of the screen.
Miraj can be used:
- To build and upgrade Imaginanium Wells
- To build and upgrade Imaginanium Tanks
- To build and upgrade all defenses
- To build and upgrade your Vision Core
- To build Dream Weavers
- To build and upgrade Revery Pools
Miraj Storage
All your Miraj is stored here. Make sure to keep it safe from creeping spider-bots! Upgrade your Miraj storage to increase its capacity and protect it from attacks.
Miraj Storages increase your storage capacity for Imaginanium. Upgrading and building additional storage increases the Miraj storage capacity further.
Miraj Trees
Miraj is a kind of magic berry that grows in clusters on Miraj Trees. It’s useful for all kinds of dreams. The more Miraj trees you have, the more Miraj you can grow!
Miraj Trees are how you produce Miraj for your dwell. Each question you answer will cause your trees to produce more Miraj. While upgrading a tree can increase production for the first few levels, they quickly reach a maximum production capacity. Once this happens, you can only increase your production capacity by building additional trees.
That’s not to say that upgrading trees does not help. Miraj trees provide storage for Miraj, too - though not quite as well as Miraj Storage buildings. If you’ve reached your maximum number of Miraj Storage buildings, try upgrading your trees!
Revery Pool
When Reveries aren’t exploring with you, they like to hang out at the Revery Pool. Create more Revery Pools to make room for all your new reveries!
Revery pools increase your revery capacity. This means that every pool you build or upgrade allows you to have more trained reveries at once, as well as more in your training queue. To learn more about revery training, click [here].
Snakeroot
Snakeroot is a venomous vine on a major growth spurt! Snakeroots can spit thorns far into the distance, and take out reveries flying through the sky!
The Snakeroot is a defensive building that protects its dwell by rooting thorns at attacking reveries. It unlocks when your Vision Core is level 2.
Targets | Ground and flying reveries |
Damage type | Single target |
Attack Range | 10 tiles |
Snorg
The Snorg can repel many reveries at once with splash damage! But don’t let those bad dreams get too close, the snorg can only hit reveries at range!
The Snorg is a defensive building that protects its dwell by rooting thorns at attacking reveries. It unlocks when your Vision Core is level 2.
Targets | Ground reveries |
Damage type | Splash* |
Attack Range | 11 tiles |
*Splash damage means that a single shot from the Crystal Tower can hit multiple reveries, rather than just one at a time.
Temple
What lurks within the carved stone of the Temple? Only the most specialized dream creatures have ever been inside. We know that it enhances the strength of our Reveries’ spells. But perhaps we will never know much more…
The Temple lets you upgrade reveries for Imaginanium, increasing the amount of damage they do each second. Upgrading a revery also increases the cost to train more, so make sure you have plenty of imaginanium wells! Read more about revery training [here].
Walls
These are the Walls. Yes, just like real Walls. You know what a Wall is. Get back in the game!
Walls block the paths of ground reveries, but not flying reveries (Jigs). They are the favourite target of Poppa Piñatas. Place these strategically in your dwell to keep out invading forces!
Vision Core
The Vision Core is the heart of every dwell. Its level controls the level of all other objects in the dwell. If your vision core is captured by Reveries, they can take over your dreams! Its crystal structure looks like it’s made up of thousands of shards. But something about it is a little different…
The Vision Core is the central building of your dwell. It controls the maximum level and maximum number of all other buildings. In Challenges, destroying another player’s Vision Core guarantees victory. Make sure to protect yours carefully.
